I have installed my new laptop with the Windows latest Operating Systems which is Windows 7 (formerly codenamed Vienna or Blackcomb) from the DVD I borrowed from my manyzer. It is a just a beta edition where its release was mainly made for early feedback from users. Even it is a beta edition it still requires a product keys for the activation of this OS after the installation. For those that is still interested in trying this new beta OS, I am sorry to tell you that the download provided by Microsoft for this Windows 7 has ended. However, you may still able to search for the torrents or other download source. However, you can still request for the product keys which is still available on below link

Another note, this beta edition will expired on 1st of August 2009. Hence, you will have get your other OS ready by then or your computer will not function properly.

So far, it worked out just fine for as it is able to run almost every application and software which was able to run in Windows Vista and XP.

What impressed me the most is the resources usage in which has enormously reduced to only around 10% max for some multitasking browsing and clients. Also my memory usage as decreased to only 900MB instead of 1200MB in Windows Vista without any high memory application running. There are many new features for this Windows 7 and the most attractive is their new tab feature for application run on taskbar. It also comes together with pre-installed Internet Explorer 8. I will update again on further new features I discover on this promosing  and tempting beautiful Windows 7.
