Starting end of October 2009, all Paypal users in Malaysia are able to withdraw their money from their Paypal account in their respective banking accounts in all banks in Malaysia. For frequent Paypal users, it would be their greatest new as they would no longer had to exchange it with Paypal traders with their so-called “currency rate”.
Now, here’s how.
Adding Banking Accounts
First, login to your Paypal account of course. Then go to the My Account tab, scroll to Profiles and a drop down list will appear and click on Add/Edit Bank Account.

Then enter your bank name and followed by the MEPS bank routing code. You can click Details on the right if you do not know what is your MEPS bank routing code. Or you can direct click here.
Next enter your bank account numbers and reconfirm it with re-entering on the next blanks.
You will be asked to review your details and click Add Bank Accounts if everything is correct. Done.
Now where is the withdrawing money part?
OK OK… Here’s how. Go to your My Accounts tab again and click Withdraw.
You will then be given 2 option for withdrawing the funds. Select on the Withdraw to your bank account and enter the amount of money in US Dollar to be converted in your banking account. You can check on the current currency rate by clicking the Currency Converter.
Note: The Paypal will charge you for RM3.00 if you withdrawn money does not exceed Rm400.00 and it takes around 2-3 business days to be processed for every withdrawing transaction done.
And they will charge for your RM15.00 if your banking information you entered earlier is incorrect or invalid. This is for the refunding fees they charged.
