If you have installed latest Avast Antivirus, you may encounter the unrecognized WebRep, Overall Rating on your comment box, your email signature and etc.
I am not really sure why Avast did that by hijacking my comment box or email signature and I think it is seriously stupid to do that.
Now here is how to remove it from your comments and email signatures
- Launch AvastUI
- Go to Additional Protection,
- Select WebRep, and click uninstall for all of your browsers where you find this silly comment and signatures.
- Then restart your browser.
- If you are getting it on your Gmail, go to GMail signature settings and delete the Webrep, Overall Rating in your signature box and save your GMail settings.
- Done.
