Have you ever get trapped on a multi-user Facebook message conversation thread and probably cursing to all the user’s grandparents till they get waken up from their graveyard who responded to the message? Or even getting your notification alert popping with this nonsense message updates
Now you must be wondering how you wanna get of this annoying thread?
To remove yourself from an inbox discussion on Facebook, please do the following:
1. Open the message in Facebook
2. At the very top of the message you’ll see your name and others – to the right of that you’ll see “Messages” and next to that you’ve see “Actions”
3. Click on the “Actions” tab and look down to the 4th tab and you’ll see “Leave Conversation”. Click on it and you’ll be out of this conversation.
4. This also works for any other message like this on Facebook so, at least you’ll have been empowered to do that – which most Facebook users still don’t know how to do!
P/S: This solution is actually part of the new Facebook messages update, which is still rolling out. It’s invitation only at the moment, so you can have a friend who already has the new messages feature invite you or request an invitation at http://www.facebook.com/about/messages/
